'IS THIS IT?' Therapy FAQS
All sessions are held online via a secure platform, making therapy accessible from wherever you feel most comfortable. Research shows online therapy is just as effective as in-person sessions, and it removes location barriers, so you can choose the right therapist for you no matter their location. Working remotely has given me the freedom to work from anywhere, and I love helping my clients create lives that offer them the same flexibility and intention.
Therapy sessions (50 minutes) are £80. I have chosen not to work with insurance companies at this time.
Yes. I've found that weekly sessions provide the best results for my clients, as the consistency is a huge part of the process. When too much time passes between sessions, progress is limited, meaning clients often spend longer working towards their goals.
I will however, accept weekly sessions with the intention to move to fortnightly once we have built some momentum (as I understand the weekly cost is a big commitment), but please anticipate to work weekly with me, as I only have limited fortnightly availability.
Most of my clients start to feel change almost immediately, but to witness long lasting change, expect to require no less than 12 sessions (equivalent to 3 months).
I offer sessions Monday - Friday (the earliest appointment time is 9.00am and the latest appointment time is 6.00pm UK time). Your therapy session will take place on the same day, and at the same time every week.
Afternoon/evening availability are the most desirable, however I do run an active waiting list.
I exclusively work one-to-one with my clients, to ensure they get the tailored support they need. Therapy and coaching is a very personal experience, therefore I dedicate all my attention on you during our sessions. I am not qualified in Couples Therapy, therefore this is not something I can offer.
Yes, I can work with clients outside the UK. Please let me know your location in our initial session, as different countries have varying regulations regarding therapy. In some cases, my counselling qualifications may not transfer across borders. However, my coaching training applies internationally and I can work with you in a coaching capacity, tailoring our work accordingly.
I do not offer crisis support. If you are feeling suicidal or at risk of harming yourself, please seek immediate help by visiting A&E or calling 999 (in the UK).
